No — your blowout includes a full wash with professional shampoo and conditioner selected for your hair type. Arriving with clean or dirty hair is equally fine. If your hair has heavy product buildup or dry shampoo, let your stylist know so they can adjust the wash accordingly.

With proper care, most blowouts last 2–3 days. To extend your style, avoid moisture and humidity where possible, sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase, and use dry shampoo at the roots on day 2 or 3 to refresh volume. Updos and structured styles tend to last even longer.
